Why Us?
All Exotic Birds Aviary Center (AEBAC) seeks to raise the absolutely best hand-raised parrots possible, according to strong ethical standards and practices. We provide public education, and support rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary and conservation programs. We are trying to make a difference in the lives of parrots, wherever they are. Please support us so we can continue our activities by purchasing birds from us, or items from our bird supply store, and by passing on our information to those who might be interested. Finally, we support conservation by sending a portion of our profits to organizations that have proven track records of success with helping preserve and expand wild populations to ensure their continuation in the wild. We also occasionally participate in field biology excursions to be able to observe wild parrot behaviors. Sometimes we see wild behaviors that help explain captive behaviors, or that spark ideas for improving our practices. We are also raising a few species that are threatened in the wild in hopes that sustainable captive populations can be built in case their wild cousins cannot sustain themselves in the wild. We allow many of these birds to be at least partially parent-reared so they could become parents of future generations.
All Exotic Birds Aviary Center (AEBAC) specializes in the breeding and keeping of the Exotic Parrots. Over the last 23 years we have raised several species of parrots before deciding in 1989 to concentrate solely on the large macaw. After successfully raising blue & gold, military, greenwing and scarlet macaws we became very interested in other macaws and parrots. It was early in 1993 that we purchased our first breeding pairs of other parrots and the following year saw our first babies. The magical pairs continues to intrigue and charm us while making us grateful for their presence in our aviary and delighted with every baby we raise.
When buying from All Exotic Birds Aviary Center (AEBAC) our customers can expect excellence every step of the way. Our Babies are large, healthy and possess wonderful dispositions; the result of careful selection and care of our breeding stock as well as the meticulous methods used in the nursery throughout the hand rearing process. The nursery is a mix of state of the art equipment, such as hospital grade incubators and monitoring instruments, to teddy bears and play areas making for a professional but loving environment to raise our babies in.
We believe in personalizing your experience with us by involving you in the process as much as possible. We encourage visits, questions, phone calls and emails. We want to get to know you and your situation. We provide transitional training for you and your baby and follow up support. Advance knowledge and preparation in caring for your baby makes for a joyous beginning and the foundation upon which you will build a lifetime together.
Parrots need quality toys to maintain good physical condition and psychological health. Through the years toys and products for the large macaw have grown in variety and availability yet still there are some that are either unsafe or not appropriate in their design. Because we specialize in large macaws we want to stay within our expertise offering information and advice on toys for large parrots. We would be happy to assist you.
